Image Learning KitImage Learning KitLance Gorrell Lyon Cao We aim to implement an image processing playground that deepens a student's understanding of image manipulation algorithms. The user interface will be reminiscent of Photoshop, GIMP, or Picasa, but algorithm details will be very accessible to the student. Our application will be able to perform a variety of standard algorithms like filtering, histogram equalization, contrast enhancement, segmentation, etc. More importantly, our application will be able to display feedback that demonstrates the effects of the algorithm in a variety of domains. Each interface will be able to show the before and after view of the data. Some examples of feedback interfaces might be FFT, histogram, most-changed region of image, algorithm code, etc. Link to this Page
