Squeak Poker
Poker is an extremely popular card game in which multiple players bet on the value of the card combination (or "hand") that they posses. The players will make bets on their hands without knowledge of the hands of their opponents. The winner of the pot is the one who either has the highest ranked hand or the person who stayed in after all other players have folded. Regardless of its true origin, poker has become an popular American pastime. Its popularity has spiked in recent times due to the convenience and anonymity of playing poker over the internet.
We believe that making a poker game in squeak could be an interesting project since it is a good candidate for becoming a multi-player game to be played over a network. This is because relatively little information needs to be known by each player and the game is turn based.
